SILVER POETS 

The following pages are reserved for the winning entries from our monthly forum-based poetry competition.

We invite members and non-forum members to send to us their original poetry submissions prior to closing on the 15th of each month.

You do not have to be a registered forum member to win this competition, but you cannot win prizes which we offer from time to time. Only registered members can win a prize.

These prizes are available two or three times a year and consist of the winner's choice of a DVD, CD, Book or Magazine subscription to the value of no more than $35.00.

So, if you are wishing to participate by writing perhaps a limerick, verse, cinquain, lanterns, tetractys, haiku or similar, then please e-mail your submissions direct to the address below where our judge will consider all entries each month. Your contributions can be of any length or any style or just a 4 - 5 line verse, and there is no limit on how many entries you can submit each month.

Our resident judge "Dreamweaver" has significant experience writing poetry and has been involved in judging many Australian competitions. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in that regard. The monthly winner and the winning entry will be published here as soon as possible after the completion of judging, which is usually at the end of each month.

Please take a few minutes and browse through our winning entries from past competitions. You will find an array of exceptional quality of original poetry.

And if you like any particular entry and wish to make a constructive or complementary comment then please contact us and we will relay your message to the poet concerned.
