SHORT  STORIES

" Writing is the only profession where no one
considers you ridiculous if you earn no money! "

Jules Renard

You have arrived at our most interesting pages.
Our heading suggested that you may find page after page of short stories. Hopefully, you will in the not too distant future. Please come back frequently to read what other visitors have written here. Or better still, add your own short story to our collection.
Now we have got you interested - haven't we
?

We are asking you to contribute to this section and brighten our readers minds with all sort of short stories about your life, your experiences, your family, your pets, your sports, well the subjects are endless. Such short stories are often part of reminiscing about your childhood or schooldays, your family and children, a meeting with some individuals you'll never forget or maybe a fantastic holiday experience you dearly wish to share with everybody.

Humans have a strong inclination to talk about all matters of subjects, but they do feel a little constrained when it gets to writing about it. Why is that so? We don't know for sure, but suspect that perhaps you are too shy to see your words in print and exposed to millions of readers.

Don't be shy! Your hidden talents could well lead you to wealth and riches. Just have a look at J.K.Rowlings. The lady has utilised her talents to make an absolute fortune from the Harry Potter series. Who says that you are not in the same class? You could be a Wilbur Smith in hiding, or you may have an untapped talent like G.B.Shaw. Wouldn't you be delighted to see your book on the shelves right next to Dickens, Austin or our own Bryce Courtenay?
Alright, so we really do not want you to send us your completed novel or biography. No, we are interested in a short story, like a sample of your full potential. We really hope that everybody will contribute to this section. Whether the story is sad or funny as long as it is within the laws of decency we will print it with your written permission.

Come on now, where are all these budding authors?

Please e-mail us your contributions for publication.
